In 2017 a Special Conference was called by the then Grand President, this was the first time in the history of The League that a Grand President has had to do this.
With the ever-increasing governance and reporting requirements, it was important for The League to change its legal identity and become a Private Company Limited by Guarantee.
This special conference was significant to enable all Member Organisations to vote on the future of the league.
